What is VPS or Virtual Private Server? By looking at wikipedia:

The common technology in creating this virtual machine are Xen, Virtuozzo, Vserver, and OpenVZ. Each of this technology consists its own advantages and functions. You can read in details the comparison for each of the technology, including those not listed here.

From the above diagram each of the virtual machine are builds in the VPS node and sharing the resources such as node ethernet card, memory, CPU, hard disk space and network bandwidth. Each of the virtual machine are allocated with fixed amount of resources and each of them run inpendently.

VPS services provided by CH Hosting using virtualization technology of openvz, xen and hardware asssisted machine. The VPS node equipped with at least hardware RAID1 setup, with minimum 12GB RAM, quad core CPU and connect to 100Mbps premium bandwidth. Each of the server is limited to 20 virtual machine per node to ensure the resources is sufficient to and share for each of the virtual machine.
